This study is designed to help you develop a personal understanding of some of the attributes of God with a look at their application to daily life. While being fairly comprehensive, it is not exhaustive. See some of the resources below for further insights and study. Our prayer is that your heart will be directed toward the God of the universe on a daily basis more consistently.
Each study focuses on one attribute or some closely related attributes of God. Many abbreviated and lengthy volumes provide abundant answers to questions being asked here. However, this study is for you to discover scriptural answers directly from Scripture which will help you go beyond recognizing and understanding the discoveries and convictions of others to establishing your personal convictions. Counselors may select particular studies that most closely relate to the needs of counselees. You may want to begin the first questions with the counselee and send them home to complete the remainder. Make assignments according to the counselee's capacity. It may take a couple of weeks to do some of the lessons. Review the questions and cover them with the counselee as thoroughly as you consider appropriate. God's character is inexhaustible. However, it is a valuable spiritual stretch to consider who God is through reviewing His Person and Character and an opportunity to allow your discoveries to affect your daily life.
